Ⅰ. What is the expression method of grinding fineness?
The fineness of grinding products is usually screened by the 200 mesh sieve of “standard sieve”, which is expressed by the percentage of the amount under sieve in the total amount of products (“mesh” is the number of sieve holes in each inch of sieve layer, and is used to name the sieve).

Ⅱ. What is the definition and expression of the hourly production capacity of the ball mill?
The unit hour production capacity of the mill refers to the amount of raw ore that the mill can handle in unit time (hour) under certain feeding and product particle size conditions, expressed in tons per unit hour.
Ⅲ. What are the operation factors that affect the operation of grinding classification unit?
It can be divided into three categories

① Ore properties. It includes hardness, mud content, feed particle size and required fineness of grinding products.
② Mill structure. Including mill type, specification, speed, etc.
③ Operating conditions. It mainly includes grinding medium, pulp, concentration, return sand ratio and classification efficiency.

Ⅳ. How to choose the shape of grinding medium?
According to the grinding purpose and test results, the grinding effect of spherical and rod media is the best. The collision of spherical medium during grinding is point contact, so the grinding efficiency is high and it is suitable for fine grinding. However, compared with rod grinding, over grinding phenomenon is serious. Generally, when the feed particle size is less than 30mm and the product particle size is not less than 1mm, rod grinding has higher efficiency.

Ⅴ. What is the size system of the grinding media loaded?
The size is determined according to the properties of the ore. The harder the ore is, the coarser the feed particle size is. The larger size medium should be added to produce greater impact grinding effect. On the contrary, the smaller size medium can be used to enhance the grinding effect.

Ⅵ. How to improve the technical efficiency of the mill and what should be paid attention to in the operation of the mill?
To improve the technical efficiency of the mill, the following aspects can be considered:
① Closed circuit grinding process is adopted.
② In the selection of equipment, rod mill with peripheral discharge should be used for coarse grinding and lattice ball mill should be used for fine grinding.

Attention should be paid to the following aspects in mill operation.
① Proper circulating load should be adopted in closed circuit grinding;
② The speed of the mill should be controlled properly;
③ The loading system should be reasonable;
④ The grinding concentration should be suitable.
