- Direct preferential flotation process
Flotation processes of various useful minerals are sequentially floatation, which is called preferential flotation process. The characteristics of the process can be adapted to the change of ore grade and has higher flexibility. It is more suitable for the primary sulfide ores with higher grade. For example, the flotation process of Xilin, Fankou and Lechang lead-zinc concentrators in China and the flotation process of Laisvall lead-zinc concentrator in Sweden are all of this kind.
- Mixed flotation process
First all the useful minerals in the ore are floated together to get mixed concentrate, and then the mixed concentrate is separated into various useful minerals in turn, which is called mixed flotation process. Simplify the process and reduce the excessive crushing of minerals, which is conducive to sorting. The former Soviet Union Almak Lead-Zinc Concentrator adopted this process and obtained higher indexes than the preferential flotation process. The grade of lead concentrate increased by 10%, the grade of zinc concentrate increased by 4.5%, the comprehensive utilization rate of ores increased from 75.4% to 83.7%, and the labor productivity was doubled. The production process of Qingchengzi Lead-Zinc Concentrator and Xiaotieshan Copper Mine in China was also improved. This is also the case.
- Part of the mixed flotation process
Mixed concentrate is obtained by flotation of two useful minerals together, and then separated from a single concentrate, called partial mixed flotation process. This is the most widely used process in production. When the grade of copper, molybdenum, copper, lead, copper, zinc, lead in the raw ore is low, this kind of process is often used economically. The copper, lead and zinc concentrators in Taolin, Huanren, Tianbaoshan, Hesan, Zhanggongling, Bajiazi, etc. adopt this kind of process.
- Flotation process with equal floatability.
According to the flotability of minerals in ores, the flotation flotation of good, medium and poor mineral groups is successively carried out, and then the mixed concentrates are separated into different useful minerals in turn. The flotation process is called equal flotability flotation process, such as the flotation process of Huangshaping Lead-Zinc Mine in China and the former Soviet Union Zhezkaz Dry Copper-Lead Mine in the former Soviet Union. It belongs to this kind.
